- The 141st Birthday of Canada is celebrated with the Annual Canada Day Parade, Hbc Run for Canada, Hbc Children’s Entertainment, and a 5000 piece birthday cake– July 1, 2008 –all gets underway starting at 8am at the Riverfront. Don’t miss the huge rap up party at the Festival Plaza July 1-when the Motown Sounds of Bomb Squad takes the stage for the Canada Day concert-9pm
